Version 2.4.9 is available and a recommended update for all active license holders. The PDF parser has been updated which improves indexing of PDF content out of the box in PHP 5.3+ without needing to resort to Xpdf Integration. A couple of other bugfixes rounds off this maintenance release.

Changelog:

2.4.9

  • [Fix] Fixed an issue where limiting Media results to All Documents did not apply the expected limit
  • [Fix] Fixed an issue where AND logic refinement may cause zero results to display depending on Title weight
  • [Update] Updated PHP PDF parser (requires PHP 5.3+, will still fall back to less reliable legacy parser if PHP 5.2)
  • [Change] Return WP_Error when an invalid search engine name is used
